His Holiness, Patriarch Filaret banned by Ecumenical Patriarchate of Turkey from Ukrainian Orthodox Church of Canada properties.
On His visit to Canada, His Holiness, Patriarch Filaret of Kyiv and All Rus’– Ukraine was banned by Metropolitan Yurij of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church of Canada (UOCC) as directed by the Ecumenical Patriarchate of Turkey. At the same time the entire Ukrainian community in Canada and The Ukrainian Greek Catholic Church has invited His Holiness for Divine Liturgy.
